"Part II of my Wedding Ensemble" DT Project for Shabby Is Chic Boutique

Hi again! I'm here to share my most current project that I made for the facebook shop Shabby Is Chic Boutique, which will be making a change to Zibbet! As soon as that link becomes available I will update this post and share that store link with you!
For now I would like to share Part II of the Wedding Ensemble  , I had started Part I in July, I did a few projects in between that time. If you would like to see the 1st part, you can click on the link above to view that. So here it is, Part II! xoxo

I took the bamboo handheld fan, painted it, applied crackle paint , then another light coat of white paint, it made it look a little more worn out look.

I let it dry overnight, the next day I began by gluing on front and back , a beautiful, wide trim from my stash, I then glued along the bottom part of the fan, the beautiful ivory collar with dangles and Pearl centers from the shop. Above that trim, I glued some of the Ivory flat back Pearl trim . On the top part of the fan I adhered some vintage looking Pearl/rhinestone bling trim from my stash. I turned it over to the back and glued the same vintage trim I first used on the front, then just added some beautiful Ivory braided trim for a clean, neat look. Lastly I added the beautiful fabric flowers and one of the heart bling pieces  from Shabby Is Chic Boutique

I then began altering the journal by painting the edges with white along the edges, painted 1/2 in. Border around the journal. Let that dry then measured and cut the pattern paper. I I used the same paper, The Archivist from Prima , that I had used on the easel card I had previously made to match this set. I used all the same trims on this journal as I did on the fan. On the back I only adhered some of the Prima paper. Then just added , the Ivory fabric flower and bling piece to the journal. I lastly added some of the canvas , script writing trim that is sold at the shop as well.

I hope that you will make a purchase of those beautiful bamboo fans and all of the beautiful products that are sold over at Shabby Is Chic Boutique .
Thanks for taking time to check out my blog post and I hope to see what you all do with your altered bamboo fans! Xoxo
See you soon!

FrankGarcia/Prima Marketing Mini Album Summer Series 2016 (May-August) Part II

Welcome to Part II of my Mini Album Summer Series, the following will be for the month of July/August. I'll get right to it, if you would like more info on these mini albums, you can take a look at the previous blog post where you can also find a link to purchase these albums. Hope you enjoy!!

                                               July Mini Album

In this mini album, it came once again with Frank Garcia's newest collections "French Riviera" , its beautifully beach themed with of course a little of vintage. Just like Frank is known for his collections! I also used some of tags, ephemera, etc from the Prima collection " Seashore" . Although these colors are not something I would usually use, but I really did enjoy making this!! xoxo

August mini album

This final mini is actually one of my favorites, its hard to say that only because I love all of them, but this one I was really anxious to finish it asap. I was never one for the color Pink, I would use it here and there but this one was fun to make. It came with some Prima Fairly Belle & Princess papers, beautiful flowers, I used some tags of both sizes on my album, along with embellishments from my stash. Of course beautiful laces from my stash and from Shabby Is Chic Boutique.

I hope that you enjoyed my mini album series. I really got so much inspiration from Franks original creations but thought I would make it my own. See you in my next posting! xoxo

Frank Garcia/Prima Marketing Mini Album Summer Series 2016 (May-August) PART I

Hi crafty friends!! This summer I was lucky to become a part of the Frank Garcia Mini Album Parcel Club , I chose to subscribe for 12months, which is less expensive than month to month I thought so. I love it because not only do you get a premade album to make a mini just like Frank's or make it yours, but you also get some supplies from his collections and from Prima Marketing!! I had a wonderful time making these and I'm looking forward to the upcoming kits. I wanted to share what I have made. I will post a short post below the photos giving you more info on what paper collection was used, etc. Enjoy!!

                                           May Mini Album

This album was made with one of the newest paper lines from Frank Garcia , its called "Salvage District" . I love everything about it!! I used alot of laces & embellishments from the Shabby Is Chic Boutique , which is a shop on Facebook and I am also a part of that design team. I've really enjoyed being on it. In September will be my 2nd term in this design team. This album was my 2nd dt projects as well. This kit came with alot of fun supplies!!

                                           June Mini Album

This mini album was made using some papers from another of Frank Garcia's newest collections, " Vintage Emporium" , paper, ephemera, memory hardware, & much more! Love how most of the Prima papers can all coordinate.

Part II of this Mini Album Summer Series will continue in my next blog posting! Go check it out!! xoxo

Almost caught up!!! WhooHOO

Omgosh, I didn't realize how many projects I had that I needed to post. This will def. be my last one for tonight!! Hope I went about this the right way but I didn't want any of my projects to not make it into my blog! Here we go.........

Here is another card I made, I am really getting the hang of these cards. I used Prima papers and flowers, beauiful trims from Shabby Is Chic Boutique, Chipboard words from Michaels, resin frame, buttons

This is an altered Art Journal cover, this was a Design Team project as well for Shabby Is Chic Boutique. I didnt realize later that this matches a Folio that I made, here is the link to it Matching Folio with 3x3 card set

The following pictures are of this beautiful altered cigar box. I used a paper stack from Recollections called "Budapest" I am in love with it! The paper on the top remided me of the windows of a church or cathedral.

I am FINALLY finished posting most of the projects I made that didn't get posted at the time they were made. I didn't have a working computer nor was able to edit nor post photos/videos. I will never let this happen again. This was rough to try to catch up haha!! Hope you enjoyed it! xoxo
P.S. Stay tuned for more exciting projects coming!!
