Shabby Chic & Vintage Rolodex Cards

Here is another one of my projects that I created. These are another craze that I've seen happening in the crafty community. Rolodex/Memory Dex cards!! Here are some cards I made using a variety of papers from Maja Designs, Prima, and Graphic 45. I absolutely love how they turned out. I also followed a tutorial from YouTube on how to make the base because I don't have the punch nor the die for it. Its a pretty easy tutorial to follow. Here is the link: Rolodex Card Tutorial from Lolly Palooza

Altered Iron from MsGardengrove Monthly Kits

Hello again! Today's catching up post is some fun projects that I created! I had an Iron Kit that I purchased from Annie who owns MsGardengrove on Etsy. I had previously made a sewing machine from one of her kits as well. It came with so many beautiful laces, some fabric pieces to choose from to cover the chipboard iron.

It also came with an adorable tiny needle book. I sent it with the iron that I altered to a crafty friend that purchased this along with the sewing machine. I really enjoy making these kits, they are beautifully put together and the prices are great! If you would like to join the FB group where you can get purchase one of her monthly kits click the link. There is a permanent list that you can request to be on, on this list you must purchase each kit automatically each month. If you skip one month you will be taken off the list and put on the temporary list and are able to purchase any kits she might have extra , sold on first come first serve basis. I hope you will join, you won't be disappointed!

Wedding Explosion Box

Hi again crafty friends!! As you might know I made this back in March but am still trying to catch up on here with my posts . But many of you know, I have shared all of my finished projects on my other social media sites as well as my Helmar projects on their blog where there are full photo tutorials / step by step instructions on how I completed those projects.  I won't go into much detail on the projects until I'm caught up so I'll begin with this fun explosion box I made. Hope u like it!!

This wedding themed explosion box was made with the 12x12 paper pad from Heartfelt Creations. It was a project for the month of March for Debby's Special Touch on Etsy. I followed a tutorial on some of the box but then changed it up just a little bit . This project I really enjoyed making it, it makes a nice wedding gift, in the center there are pockets with tags as well as photo mats that can be pulled out from the pockets in the center.

The paper used is called Classic Wedding from Heartfelt Creations. I used Recollections white card stock. I hope u are inspired to give one of these explosion boxes a try. I had mine in my bucket list for a while now. I'm happy that I've now checked off another project.
Thank you for checking out my blog post. ~Hugs~

Heartfelt Creations Cards for DebbysSpecialTouch on Etsy

Hi friends! I'm back to catch up again on my blog! I have been trying to keep up but it seems to pass me by so quick

These cards were so easy to make! I was sent this Heartfelt Creations Card Kit by Debby who is the owner of the Etsy store Debbys Special Touch had sent me over in my 1st DT package!

I am not much for coloring with alcohol markers because I don't know all the shading and all but I do give it a try and have found that I like using Lindy's Spray's and Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color with!
This kit was super easy because everything comes together for each card. The sentiments, the decorative die cut, the card base, design paper, paper embellishments, stamped/diecut flowers. I added some of the bling pieces on a couple of the cards just to give it more pop.
I hope u enjoy these cards and order one of these amazing kits!
