Valentine's Day Mini Album

Good morning crafty friends!!! I'm excited for some great reasons today!! First I am FINALLY caught up with my blog here!! I finished and revealed this amazing project I made. But mainly excited because it is my 1st Design Team Project for DebbysSpecialTouch on Etsy!! I will be designing for her for these 2months possibly more but for now I want to share what I came up with using all the goodies she sent me which I'll post a link below to that video.

This album was made using a pre manufactured chipboard album from Prima Memory Hardware from my stash. I also used the super cute Valentine papers from @Authentique #LoveStruck that was sent in my Design Team package. Also used another paper collection that I had left over from my album I made last year. I also used Pink Chiffon Acrylic Paint that I had ordered from Decoart thru the Helping Artists Program that I belong to. I painted the blank chipboard album with this paint 1in. around the edges of the album.

After I the paint had dried I papered the album with the adorable Valentine paper "Love Struck" from Authentique from my DT kit. As well as most of the stickers in the sheet that comes with this 12X12 collection. Btw right now if you purchase this 12x12 single sheet collection, you receive a sticker sheet with it but you also receive another BONUS sheet with it. So that is 2 sticker sheets you can use !!

The video above is a preview of the entire album. I also made a full project share video on YouTube. You can find that video Here or click on the video below. I hope though that u will check out the rest of my YT videos and subscribe if u haven't done so yet, please comment and Like as well! I would greatly appreciate it!!

I hope that you got even just a little inspiration with this album. Its super cute, retro and very easy to put together. I hope that you will also visit DebbysSpecialTouch on Etsy where u will find this paper collection as well as Heartfelt Creations products, Queen & Co. and more!! Thanks for checkin out my post today and hope u will follow me over here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> or sign up for my blog on your email as well!! Hugs ❤

Jan. GDT for Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft

Hi!! I'm back with my Design Team projects I made during the month of January for the Australian online store Aunty Vera Craft and Scrap. I was a designer for this online store for a month. They sell monthly kits that are themed and so for Jan. 2018 it was "Explore 2018", I hope that you all like the projects that were created for them using the amazing kit I was sent! I also linked down below to my YouTube video of my unboxing! Hope u enjoy!!

This first project that I came up with is my very 1st Travelers Notebook! The paper used is from American Crafts Dear Lizzy "Star Gazer" collection.  I used embellishments from Maya Road "Ken Oliver Vintage Compass Embellishment" I made stickers from one of the cut out pages , I used my Xyron 3in. Sticker maker . I love that little machine so much and I'm excited to be buying the Creative station from Xyron to make more projects!!

The 2nd project I made with this kit was this fun "Friends" themed loaded envelope. I hadn't made one in a while so thought I would make it with this colorful paper and embellishments. I absolutely loved the Santoro Gorjuss Girl Envelopes.

This last project is a greeting card that I made. I think I was wanting to bring a little spring color during this month. On this project I combined paper from the Jan. kit , but I also used some paper from Jen Hadfield "Simple Life" paper. It matched pretty good with the Dear Lizzy "Star Gazer" . I used some embellishments as well from both the kit and the one from my stash and also Prima Flowers. I also used the stamp set from the kit, its from Kaisercraft "Open Road" .

I was happy to be a Guest Designer for Aunty Vera's Scrap and Craft online store. If u enjoy colorful kits, this would be a good place to look at.

Updated projects for Helmar November/December Late postings

I'm back with my last projects for the months of November and December of 2017 for Helmar Adhesives . The November project I still wanted to still keep a "fall themed" project going . I decided on making a fall mixed media card. I also wanted to use some of the left over paper that I used for a mini album that I made using the Prima Amber Moon paper collection.
This card measures 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 base. I began by cutting my base from kraft card stock . I then cut my pattern paper I believe it was 4 3/4 but then I used my Tim Holtz distress tool all the way around and then applied a corner stencil with DecoArt Modeling Paste. I then used Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Ink around the pattern paper that I had distressed earlier.

I also then sprayed Prima Bloom spray Worn Leather on the area that I stenciled . Then sprayed it with my water bottle to tone down the color. I didn't want it too dark just a little distressed. I then adhered this base to the bottom using Helmar Super Tac EVA Glue  I don't adhere anything to the base until I am finished with the top base because I don't want to stain or ruin in any way the bottom base.

I then adhered some white cotton lace to the bottom of the card using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. I used to as well on the Prima flowers

The last thing I added to my card was a sentiment on my card. I applied it with some of the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots
Definitely enjoyed making this card !
