Jeannie's Crafty Creations: January 2022

Hello Crafty Friends!! As you may or may not have noticed, I haven't kept up with my blog here in a year. I must say that although I tried to keep up with my crafting, I went thru a very hard time last year but I've been able to get back on track and I'm so anxious to share with u what I have created lately and been inspired by.

Another great thing that I'm excited about is that I have been selected to be part of the Tres Jolie Design Team once again. I have already been working on my projects and this week will be revealing my 1st project for this month!! Tomorrow will be the February reveal for Tres Jolie Kits so I hope u will stay tuned tomorrow at 10:30 CST.

I want to share now my 1st project I created after Christmas at the beginning of 2022 actually. So this was my 1st project to start the year.

I altered this gum ball machine that my husband had gotten for me several years ago. I knew I would be making a snow globe but just hadn't gotten any kind of thoughts as how I would go about it. Until the beautiful collections from Prima Marketing , Frank Garcia's Sugar Cookie and Christmas Sparkle as well as products from Tim Holtz Idea-ology, Prima Marketing flowers, Finnabair Impasto Paints, Sizzix Paper Village Thinlit dies.

I also created a layout for my nephew's girlfriend as a gift for her mother. They recently lost their brother/son and she wanted this as a gift for his birthday. I used Solitude paper from Authentique

I used Prima Marketing flowers, Brutus Monroe Fabulous Fibers .

She told me that when she gifted this layout to her mother , that her mother cried from happiness, sadness and all those emotions that come with losing someone and having these kind of memories of that person. I'm so happy that I was able to create something like this that will be cherished forever. This is one of the main reasons that I love creating projects.
