Here is tutorial that I created:
I trimmed and cut the papers that I wanted to use for the outside of the box . After adhering all of the papers to the box. I used some faux leather strips to make the "luggage" straps on the box, After this I began embellishing my box adding a variety of things for example, the wooden pieces on both sides of the box, I used some packaging from the Prima Marketing flowers that I was gonna use on top of the box, I used some metal hardware from Prima as my focal point.
I made some 3x3 cards with envelopes , tags that I had in my stash, I added some papers from the collection to them, they came with some twine so I added that to the box, I also altered a small hardcover notepad. I couldn't find a smaller notepad at the time and of course after I altered this one I came across smaller ones that I had in my hoard. No worries this one came out nice. This can be used as an address book or just a journal.
For some of the embellishing in front of the box, the kit that I received from Tres Jolie came with some chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments, I decided to alter them using some Lindys Stamp gang Magical's on the flower as well as some of their Glimmer Mist Spray for the leaves. I then arranged my Prima Marketing flowers on it, finished it of adding some glass beads from Frank Garcia's collection. Lastly added the " This Beautiful Life" sentiment on the metal hardware . I forgot to add that I had inked all of the paper edges on the box, cards, & some embellishments with the Prima Chalk ink that came in the kit as well.
