Design Team Projects for Tres Jolie for the month of August

Hello crafty friends! I can't believe how quickly this month of August has gone by. Seems like this whole year is going by fast actually! Today I wanted to share with you the projects that I created for Tres Jolie Kits this month.

The first project I created was this beautiful ringed album using the August Cards, Tags & More Kit

I absolutely loved how this turned out. I must admit that I am not much for the color purple but after this, the color purple is definitely growing on me!

I made a pretty short video sharing the album in it's entirety! I hope u like it!

The second project for this month is a layout I created using the August Scrapbook Kit which included these beautiful papers from AB Studios "Diva" collection!

Here is my layout I created with this collection!

Isn't this collection just stunning! I love it! This was a gorgeous collection for sure, very well put together kit.

Lastly my last project for this month was these super cute mini tag books I created using the August Cards, Tags, & More Kit again. I had a couple of sheets left over of some beautiful tags and decided they would be cute for some mini books, I also had fussy cut a few of the ephemera from the ephemera sheets too! Propped them up on foam dots and added some beautiful seam binding from the kit and made these!

I hope that you all like what I created for this month for Tres Jolie Kits! Tomorrow will be the reveal for the month of September so I hope u will come back tomorrow at 10:30 am MST for that reveal here on my blog and also on the Tres Jolie blog. See Ya tomorrow!!

 Hugs,

Jane's Memoirs Fabric/Paper Junk Journal -Design Team Project for Fotobella (July)

Hello crafty friends!! I know my title says "July" lol you read that right. I wanted to space out my projects on here and since I'm the worst at trying to keep up with my blog. I think the reason is that I do so many write ups for the design teams I'm on so by the time I get to mine, I put it off and then it gets away on me. Anyhow so the design team package I received from Fotobella.com was the super gorgeous collection from Blue Fern Studios Jane's Memoirs. I absolutely LOVE this collection!

This is the 8x10 Junk Journal I created this month as my design team project for Fotobella Design Team!

Here is the YouTube video where I share the flip thru of the entire journal.

I also had created some ephemera for this junk journal, here are some sample photos of those.

I hope u will check out my video above to see this journal.

June Design Team Projects for Tres Jolie Kits

Hello friends! This month I had such fun creating not only using the Cards, Tags, & more kit from Tres Jolie but I also used the Scrapbook Kit as well as the mixed media kit.
For this first project I used the Cards, Tags, & more kit which included the very beautiful 6x8 paper pad from Simple Stories, Vintage Garden District.

I create these two cards and the cut out sentiments make is super easy to create some fast, beautiful cards.

The next project I used the mixed media kit, this month was a copper envelope that I absolutely loved altering!!

Here is my process video on how I altered this copper envelope.

I also used the cards, tags, & more kit to create this layout featuring my grand daughters Jaelynne & Devynne.

Here is the process video for this layout. I created my own background design using card stock, sprays, cheesecloth, I tore up some of the paper from the Simple Stories paper pad from this month's cards, tags, & More kit!

And lastly I love to create a project for the monthly sketch challenge or mood board challenge. This month was a sketch challenge @ Tres Jolie. For this I used the Scrapbook Kit for the month of June! In this layout my grandson Aaron is featured on it! I absolutely love the papers from AB Studios

Pt 2 Projects that never made to my blog

Here is the second part of me trying to post all of my crafty creations on my blog that never made it to my blog. As I mentioned in my previous post, sometimes I find it hard to post on my own blog due to health, depression, or other blogs that I have to post on like some of the design team projects where I need to write up a post of those projects and sometimes its just hard and exhausting to get to my post after all the writing I've already done. Anyhow, here are some more projects! Hope u like them!!

This is my Maggie Holmes Coin ATC's also created for Helmar Adhesives.

Here's a short video:

This next project is a Vintage Journal Cover I created for Canvas Corp Brands

Here is a short video :

This next project is my grand daughters baby book :

I created a few projects actually for my grand daughter! I kinda went over board since she is my 1st granddaughter. I do have a grandson but seems like there is more in my craft stash with plenty of PINK !

This next project is an altered jewlery hanger, I did alter both sides. I used Anna Griffin papers for this:

This next project is a travelers suitcase that I created using the chipboard kit from Want2Scrap. I made this as a keepsake box for my granddaughter as well (yes she had a lot of handmade projects made for her)

Part 3 coming in next post! Hopefully I can catch up soon!!

Vintage Lace Card

Hello!! I'm back this week with a square card this time for Secret Garden Crafts .
It measures 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 , I began by cutting my white cardstock , I then picked out my design paper which is by Maja Designs Summer Time paper! I absolutely love this paper collection! Its Vintage, Shabby Floral designs are simply amazing!! I inked the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap. Then adhered it to my card stock.

I decided on using this lace that I had in my stash and the beautiful vintage image is from Pion Designs. I left it without a sentiment so that it can be used for any occasion. I finished it off my using some white flowers I had in my stash along with some beautiful flowers from Secret Garden Crafts .

DT Project for Secret Garden Crafts

I'm back crafty friends! This week I'm sharing the 2nd DT project for Secret Garden Crafts for the month of Sept. This week our inspirational projects for you were to make either a card or a tag that included a doily. I decided to make a card size I had yet to make. So I decided on the three fold or tri fold tall card.

I began by using an 8.5 X 11 white card stock. I only had to trim of 1/2 of it. So with the 8 X 11 paper I scored it at 3.5 in at each side. I wanted to use some of the Prima Heaven Scent paper that I've had in my stash. Since the Heaven Sent II collection is already out, I really would love to have it. But I need to quick hoarding and use up what I have. Anyhow so a picked out two patterns of the papers from the A5 paper pad. I measured and cut it to size, I then cut it in long stripe pieces and adhering them.  I then added a white paper doily that I had received in some happy mail, it seems to be a die cut. Its a thick white card stock that was used. It was just the right size for the width of my card.

Once I adhered the paper I picked out a silhouette cut out dress form and chandelier embellishment that I got from Want2Scrap.  I glued these on, then had already decided on using one of the gorgeous Prima vines that Archana carries in her online store Secret Garden Crafts. I added just one of the Large White Gardenias that I received in my September DT package.

Before adhering the vines down with the white gardenia, I used my black glimmer spray from DecoArts to splatter it around the card. I didn't want to get the spray on the flowers, I only wanted it to get onto the background. I like how it turned out! I hope you like it as well. This was a quick card to make and I hope that you are inspired to try making different sizes of cards for different occasions. I didn't add a sentiment because with some of my cards I feel that leaving them blank you can use them for any occasions.

Banner Piece for 3rd DT Project for Secret Garden Crafts

I'm back with another week sharing my 3rd Design Team Project for Secret Garden Crafts !! This week we had to either make an entire banner or a Pennant, I decided on a pennant. If I decide later to add on to it I will let you all know and I'll link this post to it.

I began by using one of the pieces of chipboard banner that I purchased at Michaels's on sale. It's the Recollections brand and contains 9 pennants.
I chose to use the paper collection from Graphic 45 , Ladies Diary. It matched the flowers that I wanted to use from Secret Garden Crafts DT package. I love the color combination in this collection! So I traced the chipboard on to the paper then I also papered the back part as well. I then added some beautiful lace that I had been hoarding! I had purchased it when Lele had her online store Shabbylicious. I cut two pieces out and arranged and adhered them back to back. I then added one of the chipboard pieces that came in the collection. I adhered it right to the center of the pennant .

I then began adding the flowers (below will be a list of the flowers you can find at Secret Garden Crafts). Some of the larger Peach/Orange Tea Roses are from my stash.  I use a lot of different peach colored, used some Gypsofila for fillers. Love this!! I then finished off by adding a tear drop bling piece & an olive colored piece of seam binding to hang it with.  I really like how this turned out!! I hope you all like it as much as I do! Thank you for checking out my post and please subscribe via email so you don't miss out of my upcoming projects! Don't forget to check out the online store and when you order $50 or more you get FREE SHIPPING, use my coupon code until August 31st and save an additional 10%!!! Thank you again!! See you soon!! Layered Garden Card/ 2nd DT Project for Secret Garden Crafts

Hi again crafty friends!! I first would like to send a huge "Thank You" to all the wonderful people that viewed my blog last week for my 1st project for Secret Garden Crafts! Also "Thank You" to Archana and the rest of the Design team members!!

I'm excited to share with you all every week different creations that I hope you get inspired by to try if you haven't already, especially adding the beautiful flowers from WOC that Archana carries in her online store!
This card is a layered card. It's a 6 X 5/12 and as I've mentioned before, I like to cut my base then set it aside then add it at last when I've finished with everything I need to do on it incase I've got distressing to do , spraying, etc. Just so it stays clean.

I then picked out my paper, this paper is from the Jen Hadfield Simple Life collection. I had earlier in March made a mini album using this same paper. I really like the color combination. I chose these colors because I wanted to use the gorgeous Prima flowers that Archana had sent in my DT package. I had also received a matching spray from a destash haul I had recently purchased so I knew they would look well together.
I began by distressing the papers, adding more distress and tearing in some areas on the second piece. I then picked out some cut outs from the collection and some of the matching ephemera . I propped up the cut out card and the ephemera on some pop dots. Lastly I made my flower bouquet out of the Prima Flower Bundle (Yellow), added the yellow matching sprays from my stash, wrapped the flower bundle in some ivory seam binding. I also added some white filler flowers and others from my stash, they will be listed below. Then just adhered it using Fabri Tac wet adhesive.
Overall this card was very simple to make and I hope that you like what I've made.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the other designers blogs as well as YouTube videos.
