July 2020 Design Team Projects for Helmar Worldwide

 For the month of July I honestly wasn't too sure what to create for Helmar, since the whole Covid issues going on, this last round, the owners were not able to ship out any product out to the design team that are here in the states. So I've been trying to use what product I do have left very limited. I do use their products for every project I create whether it be for Helmar or other design teams. So when I got one of my monthly kits from Frank Garcia Studios, I knew that this would be a great project to create without using too much adhesives.

This month I had two projects to complete so I came up with this Tri-fold Double Shutter Photo Folio which I used the beautiful paper collection from Teresa Collins Designs from 2014 or so I believe. It's called Urban Market. 

This project originally started out following a tutorial by a very talented lady on Youtube Helen Griffin  . She does beautiful work and her tutorials are very easy to follow but knowing myself, that didn't quite work out. I did end up creating most of it using her tutorial until almost at the end when I messed up so it ended up with a little twist that being double sided.

June Design Team Projects for Helmar

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing some masculine cards that I created for Helmar Worldwide Adhesives. 

I thought I'd create these cards since Father's Day would be in June.

On these cards I began by cutting 2 pcs of American Crafts textured card stock in black to 5.5 X 5.5 & one Recollections brand kraft card stock. I scored them using Martha Stewart Score board then I decided to use the paper from Tim Holtz Dapper paper pad in which I hadn't used in a while. I cut different papers for my 1st layer and adhered them using the  Helmar Tiger Grip Glue  . I inked the papers that I would layer on top using Tim Holtz distress inks in black soot and vintage photo using the same glue to adhere those . I only did the layering on 2 of the cards. 

I then used the Helmar Scrap Dots to adhere the die cuts . I used some other Tim Holtz papers from Collage 8 X 8 paper pad to cut the die cuts I used for all of them. Those dies I hadn't used in quite a while either, the three that I used were the Sizzix  Bigz Dies,  Umbrella Man, Regal Crest & Old Jalopy. I also used the Helmar Scrap Dots on one of the sentiments

As you can see the areas that the Helmar Scrap Dots were used. I took a photo of each of the cards to show just this because this products on one of my favorite products!

Pt 2 Projects that never made to my blog

Here is the second part of me trying to post all of my crafty creations on my blog that never made it to my blog. As I mentioned in my previous post, sometimes I find it hard to post on my own blog due to health, depression, or other blogs that I have to post on like some of the design team projects where I need to write up a post of those projects and sometimes its just hard and exhausting to get to my post after all the writing I've already done. Anyhow, here are some more projects! Hope u like them!!

This next project is my grand daughters baby book :

I created a few projects actually for my grand daughter! I kinda went over board since she is my 1st granddaughter. I do have a grandson but seems like there is more in my craft stash with plenty of PINK ! 

This next project is an altered jewlery hanger, I did alter both sides. I used Anna Griffin papers for this:

  

This next project is a travelers suitcase that I created using the chipboard kit from Want2Scrap. I made this as a keepsake box for my granddaughter as well (yes she had a lot of handmade projects made for her)
