Banner Piece for 3rd DT Project for Secret Garden Crafts

I'm back with another week sharing my 3rd Design Team Project for Secret Garden Crafts !! This week we had to either make an entire banner or a Pennant, I decided on a pennant. If I decide later to add on to it I will let you all know and I'll link this post to it.

I began by using one of the pieces of chipboard banner that I purchased at Michaels's on sale. It's the Recollections brand and contains 9 pennants.
I chose to use the paper collection from Graphic 45 , Ladies Diary. It matched the flowers that I wanted to use from Secret Garden Crafts DT package. I love the color combination in this collection! So I traced the chipboard on to the paper then I also papered the back part as well. I then added some beautiful lace that I had been hoarding! I had purchased it when Lele had her online store Shabbylicious. I cut two pieces out and arranged and adhered them back to back. I then added one of the chipboard pieces that came in the collection. I adhered it right to the center of the pennant .

I then began adding the flowers (below will be a list of the flowers you can find at Secret Garden Crafts). Some of the larger Peach/Orange Tea Roses are from my stash.  I use a lot of different peach colored, used some Gypsofila for fillers. Love this!! I then finished off by adding a tear drop bling piece & an olive colored piece of seam binding to hang it with.  I really like how this turned out!! I hope you all like it as much as I do! Thank you for checking out my post and please subscribe via email so you don't miss out of my upcoming projects! Sewing Machine Kit from MsGardengrove

I'm back with my winnings from MsGardengrove that I won during the monthly challenge in the facebook group MsGardengrove's page. Annie who is the owner had a shop on Etsy where she carries a variety of beautiful laces, appliques and much more. But in her group she sells some beautifully put together monthly kits. Annie does an amazing job, she works so hard putting these together. She puts all the hardest parts together and we just come in and add the laces, embellishments, etc. In May I was the winner of the monthly in this group , so I won this beautiful sewing machine kit. So what that en tells is that within 2 weeks of this winning being received by me. I need to create my project using what she sent. So I'm very excited for the finished product!

If you would like to join this great group and subscribe to some beautiful kits check out Annie's facebook group as well as her Etsy shop. Down below is the video I made on YouTube sharing these amazing laces, embellishments, and everything I need for this amazing project!!  Look out for my upcoming project that I will be posting in a week or so. Hugs, Jeanne

Getting caught up!!

I'm still trying to catch up on all these projects! Omgosh, its overwhelming. I'm never gonna let myself fall this far behind again! 😂 Anyhow I'm really trying to make my posts smaller so I can post 2 projects per post. Wish me luck! 💖

This next project is my final GDT project for SaCrafters for the month of May! I made this Police Call Box in a Steampunk theme! I painted it with Folk Art Black Acrylic Paint and then on the inside and parts of the outer side I brushed on some Prima Bloom Spray "Vintage Coal", I liked this color because it gives off a metallic dark green effect. This would match perfectly with the Steampunk Debutante paper from Graphic45. I adhered it to sections of the call box then cut off the excess paper. I embellished it using a ring holder that is in the shape of a high heel shoe. It's a blue/green color with black lace on top. I decided I would use that since I just had it as decor on my dresser.

I also used many other embellishments thoughout the inside of this Police Call Box. For a more detailed feature of this project , please click on my YouTube video to view it. I am trying to keep my posts shorter so its easier if I've made a video about it. Thanks you for stopping in! xoxo, Jeanne

                                    Shabby Chic Wall Hanging

This project was made by me using the 1st kit I purchased from MsGardengrove on Etsy. Annie is the owner and she's got a group on Facebook where she sells montly kits. I immediately began making it as soon as it arrived in the mail! There was alot of beautiful trim and laces to work with but I think less is more so I didn't use every single piece of lace that came in it and used some of from my stash. Here is the link to the fb group incase you would like to join up. There is a waiting list usually so once there is a spot open on the permanant list Annie will message you to inquire if you would still like to be on the permanant list. I hope you like this, I made it for my mom to put up in her room!!
