GDT Projects for J & S Hobbies and Crafts

Hi crafty friends!! I'm back today with my Guest Design Team projects for J & S Hobbies and Crafts. I was super excited to make these projects because I've been anxious to use the beautiful flowers I was sent in my design team package along with the rest of the items! So here are my projects for March!
I don't want to make this post too long but if you would like to see the video of my DT package from J & S Hobbies and Crafts , you can click here
This was my 1st of 4 projects I made. I was anxious to use a paper collection that I had just recently ordered, the brand new collection , G45 Portrait of a Lady. I had a swap that I was a part of on Facebook. It was a Stack of Friendship letters, we had to make our own envelopes and embellish them. While I was making the envelopes I decided to make one of the Keepsake Envelope Boxes that I had already had made before. I figured my swap partner would like this instead. I hope you will like it just as much as she liked it!!

These next projects are something I have been gradually been working on my card making skills! I must say I have enjoyed making them. I just purchased the Anna Griffin cuttlebug and have a few thin dies. So when I recieved my 1st Heartfelt Creations die I was super excited! Check out J & S Hobbies and Crafts for a variety of Heartfelt Creations products. The following products are all from this great company. I hope you like the cards I made!

Check out https://jshobbiesandcrafts.com/  to find all the great products that they carry! Also if you would like to see my project share video of my keepsake box and one of the cards I made, click here
Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog and I hope you will share my site with your crafty friends!! xoxo, Jeanne

Loaded Envelope for a Swap @ Liza's Craft Shop on Facebook!!

Hi again crafty friends!! I'm finally back with a project share! I would have posted this so much sooner but I was waiting until my partner got back from being out of town and she made it back home tonight I'm hoping that she's already opened up her package! (crossing my fingers lol )
Anyhow I was very excited to make this Loaded Envelope as I have made others before. Although I must say that I took such a liking to this one a little more because I used that beautiful blinged out flower in the center as my focal point! Not only that but I'm glad that she likes purple cuz this one was a beautiful color of purple. It wasn't too bright and I found the perfect papers to go with it!

I first began by using a tutorial that I've used before as my base. A fellow crafter and youtuber did this tutorial and I think its super easy! Click here to view this tutorial! I then decided to use some Prima papers, I used some from Fairy Belle and from Princess collection. I thought they went very well with the flower in the center that came from my guest dt pkg from Esme, the owner of Crafty Me Shop on Facebook. I used also some bling leaves from Prima. I added white pearl sprays with the fabric flower. I tried making a paper Rosette and while it was super easy, I didn't like that it stayed a little lopsided lol, I used cookie sticks instead of paper straws because I felt they were way more sturdy than paper straws. I just wrapped some thin , dainty laces around them using Fabritac adhesive. You can find these @ Michaels or any other craft shop, click here to view what they look like. They come in a variety of sizes and quanities. I hope you will give these a try sometime!!

I then added a pocket of mesh/lace trim from my stash on the back and front. I adhered pearl trim around the entire back of the envelope. I adhered the same pearl trim on the front in certain areas as well. On the sides I used some beautiful pink trim from Crafty Me shop and in the center of that I added some tiny rosette with pearl trim from my stash.
I used some Lindy's Magicals to color the two chipboard pieces that I had from FabScraps, I gessoed them first then brushed on the magicals, Love that color! It matched the flower perfect!! Then I just made a small altered paper clip with my Martha Stewart butterfly punch, I layered it, added mod podge for sturdiness and stickles, rinestone in the center too. Then added tags from the Prima paper collections with some butterfly paper clips. On the back I added a white fan with a beautiful cameo in the center for added decor. Plus it would hold up my paper rosette better. Lastly I added the beautiful fabric flower that I had recieved on my guest dt kit from Flair By Me, I just added hot glue to ahere it to the cookie stick, then just added some pearl garland . I also made a tag to go inside the envelope along with the wand. I was gonna include some goodies inside like she did with mine but they didn't fit very well so decided to pack them separate. I do hope that she likes it!!

Valentine Card for Hubby

Hi crafty friends!! I'm back with this Valentines Card that I made my husband for Valentine's Day.  I knew I wanted to make something more on the masculine side. He's not into the basic Valentine colors like red, white, pink, nor I didn't wanna make it with pink flowers etc.
I seen a card on YouTube when I was searching for ideas on what paper line to use. There was a crafter that had used this same paper collection to make a masculine card as well. So she is who inspired me! If u would like to see her card, check out the link I do hope that you will feel inspired by mine to make one for your love next Valentine's Day! xoxo, Jeanne

Winter Series Mini Albums (Nov-Jan)

I am very excited to share the current mini albums that I finished recently. Instead of making and posting each month , I have saved them up and am sharing them with you all. I enjoy being in this montly kit club.  If  you are just a beginner just like me and would like to get an idea of what making a mini consists of and whatnot, this is a great way to start because the kit includes everything you need with the exception of the adhesive, paints, any kind of tool you might need and so on. It even includes the sturdy chipboard album that you paint and then adhere the paper to it. Very simple and full directions on how to make it!! Here is my Nov. , Dec., & Jan. Kits!

                                            NOVEMBER 2016

Even if you already know how to make mini albums, this is a great way to making a quick gift maybe and you can make it how you like. That is how I like to make mine. They go on sale on the 1st day of every month. Here is the Link to these kits and I hope you will try even just one, they are addicting!!

                                        DECEMBER 2016

I did forget to mention also that usually before these 3 months past, Frank Garcia a designer for Prima Marketing and who these kits are supplied by. He had been sending Prima products then he asked our group on facebook if we would like for him to use other products to see how we like them! I must say while I loved using different products, I will always love Prima collections . I'm thinking I like them because they all somehow to me , all are compatible in colors , designs, in one way or another. This is my opinion, I don't know how others feel but that's what I like. Anyhow on to my last one for this post!

Valentine Vintage Tag & Shabby Chic Valentine

Hi everyone!! I am back to share with you the latest projects I have made! This is the month of Feburary is a wonderful month when people who are in love celebrate. I enjoy making tags and am gradually making cards. I still have a ways to go, I have not gotten it down quite yet but I'm not quitting!! So I am excited to share these next two projects!
The first one is I made was a Vintage Valentine Tag , I made it for one of my Guest Design Team projects for the facebook shop Crafty Me Shop as well as it is for a swap on this same group. I hope my partner will like what I came up with and I hope you like it too! xoxo

I hope that you will check out the group on Facebook, the owner also does her sales of all her beautiful laces, embellishments, etc usually during the weekends. Click Here to join

This next project is a Valentine Shabby Chic Card, I really enjoyed making this project. A wonderful friend that sent me a RAK not very long ago sent me a wide variety of papers, I will be putting what she sent me to use. I love papers and she knows exactly the kind of papers I like. So the papers that I decided to use is a collection from Pink Paislee, London Marketplace. It is very beautiful! I hope to purchase the 12x12 paper stack to be able to make a mini album.
I hope that you like this as well and if you come across this paper line and you make something. Please share your beautiful creations and ideas. We all love being inspired.
XOXO, Jeanne
