A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING

Hi everybody! Its been a little while I know. I am still working on this blog because for some strange reason, most of my most recent photos were gone, some of my earlier posts when I started my blog, the writing on it is strange and I know I didn't do that haha!
Anyhow I just wanted to share with you some projects I've finished up. I am still working on a mixed media resist canvas album, but I got anxious to share with you these other projects so I hope you like what you see! Comments welcome!! xoxo
This here is my altered Tim Holtz configuration box. I've had it tucked away in my stash for a while, figured it was time to play! I enjoyed painting it, using Prima "The Archivist" paper on it, I used some washi tape on the edges of the inner cubes, then just looked for some small embellishments that would kinda go together. Although I have seen some similar boxes others have made with alot of embelllishments inside, I do like how it looks but I wanted mine different. To finish the look I embossed that beautiful chipboard dressform that my bff Amy Love gifted me for my bday!! xoxo

Next is a try at little of mixed media! I sure enjoyed this canvas. Of course gotta keep a little bit of my vintage signature on it ! Used a wonderful paper line called "Vintage Time" by Craft&You. I also used a beautiful image from some Pion paper I have in my stash! I really loved how girly it turned out!!

Here is the 1st card I have made, besides the easel card I a while back. This one extremely special because it was made with love for my crafty bestie Amy Love Watston for her bday on Sept. 5th! I used plain white cardstock to build the base, I then used a sheet of the beautiful paper "Bella Rose" from First Edition, then I used a little bit of cheese cloth for added dimension, with a lightly embossed grey cardstock that matched the color of the design paper. I embossed the chipboard "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" using some Lindy's embossing powder. I then adhered a paper doily, & added that adorable image of those cute ballerinas. I added that beautiful fabric flower from Prima and added that stunning piece of bling as the center. I hope you can get inspired by my creation just as I was inspired to make it. xoxo ~Besos~

Some Awsome News & Project Share!

Hi everyone, I'm back! I actually have this project I want to share with you and some news, good news! So I was asked a while back if I wanted to be a guest designer for the month of July for www.calicraftsnsupplies.com, the owner is Barbara Hickman , some of you might know her as Caliscrapper on facebook , youtube?! So that I was super excited for. Then I was offered a guest design spot for the zibbet store https://www.zibbet.com/goneartsy!! As some of you might remember I was a guest designer last fall. Anyhow I am super excited for both these DT spots!
So for my 1st project for Calicraftsnsupplies I decided to tackle the Tim Holtz small folio with the Marion Smith "Timekeeper" paper collection. I used distress inks, I distressed my papers, I used alot of the Tim Holtz embellishements, so it turned out pretty good. A cross between steampunk and vintage I thought! Let me know your thought! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

Design Team Projects for June for KS4U and Flossie Scrapper!

Hi everyone! I'm totally late in posting up my last projects as a guest designer for KS4U and my June project for Flossie Scrapper! I finished them up last week before heading out to Denver on a mini vacation for my grandsons 2nd Birthday! So here they are! I love how they each came out, I first did the paper mache book box which I painted with black acrylic paint then added a coat of modge podge kinda as a sealant, then I papered it with Graphic45 "Curtain Call" I love that paper line. I then added some trims, I used my "sewing room" sizzix die for the dress form. Added some trim from Kraft supplies 4U, along with some metals and braided trim from Julie's shop as well. I made this project as a gift as well for my daughters step mother in law, she really liked it! I hope u all like what I did with it as well!

As for my 2nd project, it was a combination project for Flossie Scrapper and KS4U! I had a tin I had saved to alter. I had the Authentique "Classique Beauty" paper which was very adorable, this was sent to me by Vicki, the owner of Flossie Scrapper, I also used some Prima embellishements from her shop, I also used some Petaloo flowers (yellow) from Flossie Scrapper as well.

As for the embellishments that I used from KS4U, I used the adorable mini masks (black), they come in a variety of colors, I used some flowers from there as well (black) and a doily , along with a wishing well charm I painted it black, and some black/white organza trim from Kraft Supplies 4U! I love how this turned out, as I will be using it to store some small embellishments! I hope u all like my projects, I didn't think I did too bad for being I was losing my crafting mojo lol! I'll be back with some great news!!

My very 1st Pocket Letter!! Guest Design Team Project for Kraft Supplies 4U!

Hi! Today I am very excited to share with you my guest design team project for  Kraft Supplies 4 U ! I FINALLY made a pocket letter using the beautiful paper from one of the Gorjuss Girl collections! Anyhow, I wanted it to make it my style but not too much "vintage" so I hope I was able to accomplish that! I used some of the newest trims that I got from Julies shop, I cut them up and sprayed them with some sprays from Tattered Angels and one with my homemade spray. This letter is going to someone but I didn't want to show what I was REALLY sending in the letter so I put in some temporary goodies!

Paper Bag mini album for KraftSupplies4U!

Hi all, as previously posted that I am just catching up with posting my last two projects, this one was the last project for the month of May for www.ks4u.net . I had been pretty sick and just alot going on. I have been wanting to make one of these paper bag mini albums, I did enjoy making it, I was just a tad bummed that I could not go crazy embellishing it! But no worries I just love how it came out and how the saying goes "Less is More" , in this case it def. was just that! I hope u enjoy my project! ~Hugs~

Authenttique "Classique Beauty" Easel card with drawer

HI crafty friends! I am very late in posting my project for May for FlossieScrapper , I had been very sick almost all month dealing with bad back issues then caughty a pretty bad cold which led me to lose my voice for several days!

Just so much going on. I have been wanting to make a card for sometime now but I really love the easel cards, so I decided to make this one and add a drawer! I followed a great tutorial from "gettinginspired" on youtube. I was able to make it fairly fast! I hope u like my project as much as I liked making this!
